Today we are highlighting an event we worked earlier this year in Longmont, Colorado for Redwire Space. Redwire held an event on Tuesday, January 30th that included a red ribbon cutting ceremony and guest speakers. Button Pusher Media provided all of the staging, event design, lighting, audio, and video live streaming services for the event.

After the ribbon cutting ceremony and words from the guest speakers, event attendees got to tour Redwire’s new Longmont facility and get an inside look at some of the cutting edge technologies that the facility is currently working on. One of these includes the Solar Sail System. Solar sail technology harnesses the power of sunlight to propel spacecraft forward, enabling long-duration spaceflight to non-traditional orbits. This innovative technology certainly has the potential to unlock new possibilities in space exploration, including advanced solar storm warning systems, enhanced lunar communications coverage, and long-range interstellar missions. Solar sail technology also has the benefit of being more cost effective than current conventional systems.
